Welcome to Medical Student Missions!

We’re happy you’ve decided to visit our website.

Medical Student Missions was founded in 2010 as a nonprofit dedicated to providing much-needed medical aid to the people of Haiti and learning through service opportunities for our volunteers.

Founded by medical students but open to everyone, Medical Student Missions has completed more than 30 amazing trips with over 250 volunteers safely participating in medical missions to Haiti.

Whether you’re a student, medical professional, or layperson, volunteering with Medical Student Missions is an unforgettable adventure. We are unique among mission groups because we are closely tied in with the local people in the places we serve, and our close relationships with our Haitian hosts give us the opportunity to provide our mission participants with the experience of a lifetime.

We currently offer three main services:

(1) Medical mission trips to rural Haiti,

(2) Continuing Medical Education opportunities, and

(3) Volunteer teaching opportunities.

Our medical missions trips to rural Haiti are the classic “learning through service” opportunities we have been conducting since our founding in 2010.  Participants can be anyone from lay volunteers with no medical experience whatsoever to experienced physicians and nurses, and anyone in between. These trips provide volunteers with the opportunity to help people who are truly in need and learn a lot about caring for individuals in a unique environment.

Our CME and Volunteer Teaching Opportunities are new additions to Medical Student Missions services. Check back soon for more information on these projects and opportunities, and please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, or to gain more information.

Again, thank you for your interest in Medical Student Missions
